Privacy first: MoodQuote is designed to work offline. Your quotes, favorites, history, drafts, custom card styles, and reminder settings remain on your device. No account is required, and no personal data is collected or uploaded to our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how MoodQuote ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the MoodQuote iOS application and widgets.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. MoodQuote does not operate a user account system, remote database, or cloud sync backend.
The app processes and stores the following information locally on your device:
- Personalization Preferences: Selected mood and quote category choices.
- Reading History & Favorites: Quotes you have viewed or marked as favorites.
- Quote Card Drafts & Customizations: Custom fonts, background colors, gradients, line spacing, alignments, and custom quotes you design in the Create tab.
- Widget Settings: Selected themes and pre-calculated daily widget schedule snapshots stored in your device's shared App Group container (
group.com.congth504.moodquote).
- Reminder Settings: Daily reminder toggle and scheduled time.
This information is never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. Photos and Media Processing
When you customize a quote card background using your own image:
- Images selected via the system photo picker are processed, cropped, and rendered locally on your device.
- MoodQuote does not upload, analyze, or share your photos with any external server or third-party AI service.
- If you choose to save a finished quote card to your Photos app, MoodQuote uses Apple's native photo framework solely to add the image to your library.
